Welcome to Your new way of Learning at IIG!

Our way of “normal” living  has changed for the foreseeable future, many say, forever. How we teach, learn, live and interact may be affected, but we are, and will evolve with the times.

The 2020 Fall Semester has begun! This is the first year that many students are away from family and friends, moving to a new city and starting their transition into adulthood. It is always an exciting and anxious time for young adults and COVID-19 has not made this transition easier. Our way of “normal” living  has changed for the foreseeable future, many say, forever. How we teach, learn, live and interact may be affected, but we are, and will evolve with the times.

The return to school is different for students all over the world. Many are in the classroom, some virtually, and others through a hybrid of face-to-face and virtually. No matter the method and forms of teaching and learning, students and their professors are connecting, and are working to create an adaptable and resilient academic environment and educational system.

(IIG) worked over the summer with consultants to provide the safest environment for our new and returning students.

(IIG) is strictly following the rules set by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and every precautionary measure has been taken on campus.

Here are some measures the (IIG) is taking to ensure the safety of everyone on campus:

  • Observing social distancing (1.5-2 meters) for entering offices and classrooms
  • Providing hand sanitizers at various points on campus
  • Toilet spaces are now equipped with automatic sanitizers
  • The campus has been expanded by 450 meters to give more room to students to sit and relax
  • A new Conference Room and class room have been provided
  • Entry and exit points are now highlighted by posts and signs and must be followed

We here at (IIG) take student and staff safety seriously and we are pleased that our safety measures are being followed by staff and students. The pandemic has brought on tremendous change for us all.We are doing our best to accommodate each and every one of you and our aim is to have all our students here on campus.

Our staff is here to answer any concerns you have, (IIG) prides itself on having an open door policy where students are welcome to talk to us at any time. We encourage you to all stay safe and continue to work with us to ensure a safe environment for all.
